Fernando Coloma is the Vice President of Business Development for Latin America at Ceibo. He leads the LatAm commercial efforts to identify and secure business opportunities with potential clients and partners in the copper sulfide leaching space.
Prior to joining Ceibo, Fernando worked on the Innovation and Corporate Development teams at BHP. As a Manager of Innovation Delivery, he lead a team to plan, develop and execute on-site pilot plants for new technologies at several mining operations, enabling multi-million-dollar investments in growth projects. As a Director of Corporate Development, he provided leadership, and strategic and financial advice in several growth projects and strategic review opportunities across the region.
Before BHP, he worked in mergers and acquisitions, providing financial advisory to Chilean and international clients within the infrastructure, power and water sectors. Fernando holds a BSc in Industrial Engineering from the Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile and a Master of Business Administration from UCLA Anderson School of Management.
