Gino Aracena Concha is the Process Integration Project Manager at Ceibo, leading a multidisciplinary team to develop and construct innovative, sustainable technologies for metal extraction. His focus is on optimizing resources using best engineering practices for projects in development.
With over 33 years of industry experience, Gino has held roles as Project Manager, Area Manager, and Chief of Engineering, Construction, and Commissioning, overseeing industrial projects from concept through feasibility, detail engineering, construction, and commissioning.
His project management experience includes engineering planning, schedule control, coordination with vendors, and managing EPC packages. Gino’s expertise includes hydrometallurgical projects such as El Tesoro, Spence, and Antucoya, where he managed engineering teams across scheduling, procurement, environmental permits, and community relations. He has participated in major projects, including Santa Fe/Pulp-Shell, Arauco II/Pulp, Spence (Copper-BHP), EcoMetales Limited -AAA (Codelco), SNC Lavalin (Galeno, Copper-Peru), Lobo-Marte (Gold-Chile), and more. Gino holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in Civil Engineering, from Universidad de Concepción.
