How it works

Ceibo’s processing technologies enable copper recovery and the production of cathodes on-site for sulfide ores while also leveraging existing leaching facilities. It is a combination of a chemical and operational process where it creates an optimal and controllable environment that allows for higher recoveries on sulfides. Operationally, this process is similar to an oxide heap leach.

 

We have developed and validated a superior leaching process where electrochemical reactions catalyze effectively the oxidation in the primary sulfide ores, including the refractory Chalcopyrite. Resulting in a faster and cleaner process for extracting copper sulfides.
