Nicolas Fuster is a geologist from the University of Chile, with over 40 years of achievements across Mining Exploration, Business Development and Corporate Public Affairs in Chile, Peru, Ecuador and Argentina. He focuses on environmental protection and community relations, with an emphasis on human rights and climate change to guide management in minimizing stakeholder risks.
Nicolas has led exploration plans at Codelco, Placer Dome, Antofagasta Minerals, Xstrata Copper and Next Minerals, increasing mineral resources in Porphyry Copper, IOCG (Iron-Copper-Gold), Epithermal Gold, Strata-bound, and VMS. He has managed exploration partnerships with junior and major companies with significant achievements in risk management of environmental and community issues. He also led due diligence processes, mining asset valuations, and audits for local and foreign companies.
As an independent consultant and advisor for the past seven years, he has worked with mining companies, investment funds, entrepreneurs and investors across Chile, Ecuador, Colombia, Peru and Canada, specializing in resource assessment, M&A processes and business development.
